THE FFF DOCUMENTARY

The Future of Farming, the documentary about Farm For the Future Tanzania Ltd. (FFF), offers a hopeful and practical vision for Africa’s agricultural future driven by youth, powered by innovation, and rooted in sustainable, inclusive growth. Filmed in the fertile lands of Iringa, Tanzania, the film highlights the transformative work of FFF and its training initiative, Agronomic for Community Empowerment (ACE).

Challenging outdated narratives that frame farming as laborious and unproductive, the documentary presents agriculture as a vibrant, high-potential sector. From the macadamia fields and seed production units at FFF’s commercial farm to schoolchildren confidently working the soil at the Children’s Farm, it captures the energy and determination of a new generation rewriting the future of African agriculture.

The film explores innovative efforts to modernize farming in Tanzania, increase crop yields, and foster sustainable livelihoods, all while emphasizing the critical role of food security on the continent. Hosted by renowned Norwegian TV presenter and producer Arne Hjeltnes, and produced by Tellus Works Norway, The Future of Farming takes viewers on a journey of resilience, innovation, and hope.
